Hadith 1578
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I have not seen anyone show as much affection to children as the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) did. The son of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), Sayyiduna Ibrahim, used to be nursed (in the outskirts of Madinah). (The outskirts were some villages near Madinah.) The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to go there, and we would go with him. Then he would visit the house, where there would be smoke because the husband of "Annah" was a blacksmith. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would take the child, love him, and then return. Amr said: When Sayyiduna Ibrahim passed away, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Ibrahim is my son. He passed away while still nursing. Now he has two wet nurses who will nurse him in Paradise for the duration he was to be nursed."

Hadith 1579
Narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that Aqra’ bin Habis saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) kissing Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him). He said, "O Messenger of Allah! I have ten children and I have not kissed any of them." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Whoever does not show mercy (to children, orphans, the helpless, and the weak), Allah will not show mercy to him."
