Hadith 1538
`Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) says that` we were with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) at Mina when the moon split into two pieces. One piece remained on this side of the mountain and the other went to the other side. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Bear witness."
Hadith 1539
Narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him): The people of Makkah asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) for a sign, so he showed them the splitting of the moon into two parts.
