Hadith 1516
Abu Salamah says: I heard from Sayyiduna Abu Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him), he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: A good dream is from Allah Almighty and a bad dream is from Satan. So when any of you sees a disliked dream, he should spit to his left side or (without spitting) blow lightly and seek refuge in Allah from its evil, then that dream will not harm him. Abu Salamah said: I used to see some dreams that were heavier upon me than a mountain, but when I heard this hadith, I no longer cared about them.
