Lady Safiyyah bint Abi Ubaid narrates from some of the wives of the Prophet (may Allah be pleased with them) and they narrate from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said: Whoever goes to a fortune-teller and asks him anything, his prayer will not be accepted for forty days.
