Hadith 1488
Narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Neither does one’s illness infect another, nor is there any reality in Haamah, nor in Naw’, nor in Safar. (Naw’ refers to the rising and setting of stars, as was the belief of the Arabs and is also the belief of today’s astrologers, that rain occurs due to a certain star, etc.)
