Hadith 1483
`Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that` Sayyiduna Sa’d bin Mu’adh (may Allah be pleased with him) was struck by an arrow in the akhal (a vein), so the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) cauterized the wound with the arrowhead with his own hand. Swelling appeared on his hand, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) cauterized it again.
