Hadith 1440
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin Aas (may Allah be pleased with him) that some people from Banu Hashim went to Asma bint Umais, and Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) also went, and at that time Asma was married to Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him). They saw them and disliked their coming. Then it was mentioned to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and he said, "I have not seen anything wrong." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Allah has purified Asma from any evil act." Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stood on the pulpit and said, "From today, no man should enter the house of a woman whose husband is absent (i.e., not at home), except that he brings one or two men with him." (By this he meant his own men, about whom it is impossible to think that they would go to a woman of ill character.)
