Hadith 1428
´Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that` he (peace be upon him) said: None of you should make his brother get up from his place and then sit there himself, but rather spread out and make room. In another narration, it is mentioned that I asked: Is this command for the day of Jumu'ah? He (peace be upon him) said: Whether it is Jumu'ah or any other day. And if someone would stand up for Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both), he would not sit in that place (even though it is permissible to sit with his consent, but this was caution lest he might be displeased in his heart).
