Hadith 1358
`Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) says:` I passed in front of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and my lower garment was hanging down, so the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "O Abdullah! Raise your garment." I raised it, then he (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Raise it higher." So I raised it higher. After that, I would always keep my lower garment raised, until people asked, "How high should it be raised?" Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said, "Up to the middle of the shin."
