Hadith 1315
Talha bin Nafi narrates that he heard from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) took my hand and took me to his house. Then a few pieces of bread were brought to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), so he said, "Is there any condiment?" They said, "No, except a little vinegar." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Vinegar is a good condiment." Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "From that day I began to love vinegar, since I heard this from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)." And Talha (who narrates this hadith from Sayyiduna Jabir, may Allah be pleased with him) said, "Since I heard this hadith from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him), I also like vinegar."
