Hadith 1300
Sayyiduna Umar bin Abi Salamah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I was in the lap of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) (because the Prophet (peace be upon him) had married Umar's mother, Umm al-Mu'mineen Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her)), and my hand was moving all around in the bowl. So the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: O boy, mention the name of Allah, eat with your right hand, and eat from what is near to you.
