Hadith 1176
‘Abdullah bin ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with both of them) narrates that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) returned from the Battle of Ahzab, he announced that no one should perform the Zuhr prayer except in the locality of Banu Qurayzah. Some people feared that the prayer might become overdue, so they performed the prayer before reaching there, and some said, “We will not pray except where the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) has commanded, even if the prayer becomes overdue.” Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) did not express displeasure with either of the two groups.
