Hadith 1135
Narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had some of the date-palm trees of Banu Nadir cut down and some burned. On this occasion, Sayyiduna Hassan (may Allah be pleased with him) recited these verses: "It became easy for the chiefs and nobles of Banu Lu’ayy (i.e., Quraysh) that the orchard of Buwairah is engulfed in flames." And regarding this, Allah Almighty revealed this verse: "Whatever you cut down of [their] palm trees or left standing on their trunks, it was by permission of Allah and so He would disgrace the defiantly disobedient." (__QUR_N__ al-Hashr: 5).
