Hadith 1065
Sayyiduna Abu Shurayh Khuzai (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Hospitality is for three days, and special effort in hospitality is for one day and one night. It is not permissible for a Muslim to stay with his brother to the extent that he puts him in sin. The Companions asked, "O Messenger of Allah! How would he put him in sin?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: He stays with him while he has nothing to offer him.
