Umm al-Mu'mineen Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that he (peace be upon him) said: The thief's hand will not be cut off except for theft of a quarter dinar or more.
