Hadith 945
Hakim bin Hizam (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that he (peace be upon him) said: The seller and the buyer both have the option (to cancel the deal) as long as they do not separate. Then if both speak the truth and clarify (any defect in the item or in the price), there will be blessing in their transaction. But if they lie and conceal (the defect), the blessing of their transaction will be erased. (Their trade will never flourish. In reality, whether it is trade, agriculture, or employment, honesty and integrity are the things due to which every work progresses by leaps and bounds, whereas the opposite only brings loss.)
