Hadith 918
Bashir bin Yasar, the freed slave of Banu Haritha, narrates that Sayyiduna Rafi’ bin Khadij and Sahl bin Abi Hathmah (may Allah be pleased with them) told him that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade the sale of Muzabana (i.e., selling dates on the tree in exchange for dried dates), except for the owners of ‘Araya, to whom he permitted it. (This refers to those poor people to whom an orchard owner gives a tree, saying that they may use its fruit.)
