Hadith 836
Sayyiduna Abu Darda’ (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that he passed by the door of a tent and saw a woman there whose time of childbirth was near. So the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “Perhaps the man (with whom she is) intends to have intercourse with her?” The people replied, “Yes.” The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “I wished to curse him with such a curse that would remain with him till the grave. How can he be the heir of that boy, when she is not lawful for him? And how can he make that boy a slave, when he is not lawful for him?”

Hadith 837
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sent an army towards Autas on the day of Hunain. They confronted the enemy, fought them, prevailed over them, and captured their women. Some of the companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) disliked having relations with them because their husbands, who were polytheists, were still alive. Then Allah the Exalted revealed this verse: "Forbidden are women who are married, except those whom your right hands possess" (An-Nisa: 24), meaning that when their waiting period ('iddah) has passed, they are lawful for you.
