Hadith 812
It is narrated from Rabi’ bin Sabrah that his father (may Allah be pleased with him) was with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) in the expedition of the conquest of Makkah, and he said: We stayed in Makkah for fifteen (i.e., thirty days including nights and days), so the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) permitted us to contract mut’ah with women. So I and a man from my tribe both went out, and I was more handsome than him, and he was closer to being unattractive. Each of us had a cloak, and my cloak was old, while my cousin’s cloak was new and fresh. When we reached the lower or upper side of Makkah, we met a woman who was like a young she-camel, with a long neck (i.e., a young, beautiful woman). So we said to her: Do you wish that one of us contracts mut’ah with you? She said: What will you give? So each of us spread out his cloak, and she began to look at both of them. My companion was staring at her (from her head to her hips), and she said: His cloak is old, and my cloak is new and fresh. Then she said two or three times: There is no harm in his cloak. So I contracted mut’ah with her. Then I did not leave her until the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) made mut’ah unlawful.

Hadith 813
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sabrah Juhani, may Allah be pleased with him, that he was with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. The Prophet said: "O people! I had permitted you to contract temporary marriage (mut'ah) with women, but now Allah Almighty has made it unlawful until the Day of Resurrection. So, whoever has any of these women (i.e., women of mut'ah) with him should let her go, and do not take back anything you have given them."
