Hadith 801
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that a man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: I have married a woman from among the Ansar. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: Did you look at her? For indeed, there is something (a defect) in the eyes of the Ansar. He replied: Yes, I have seen her. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: For how much mahr (dowry)? He said: For four uqiyah of silver. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Four uqiyah? It is as if you people dig up silver from the side of this mountain (i.e., when you fix such a large mahr), and we have nothing to give you. But now, we will send you with an army, and you will get a share (of the spoils of war) in it. The narrator says: Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sent an army towards the tribe of Banu Abs, and he sent him along with it.
