Hadith 729
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "O Allah! Forgive those who shave their heads." The people said, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! And those who trim their hair?" Then he said, "O Allah! Forgive those who shave their heads." The people again said, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! And those who trim their hair (i.e., pray for their forgiveness as well)?" He said, "O Allah! Forgive those who shave their heads." Again the people said, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! (Pray for the forgiveness of) those who trim their hair as well." Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "And (forgive) those who trim their hair (as well)."
