Hadith 692
Narrated from Sayyiduna Usama bin Zaid bin Harithah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)! Will you reside in your house in Makkah? The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied: Has Aqeel left any house or wall for us? (that we would reside there) Because the heirs of Abu Talib were Aqeel and Talib, and Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) and Sayyiduna Ja'far (may Allah be pleased with him) did not inherit anything. Because both of them had become Muslims, and Aqeel and Talib had not become Muslims. (For this reason, a Muslim and a disbeliever cannot inherit from each other.)
