Hadith 680
Narrated from Sayyiduna Sa'b bin Jaththamah al-Laithi (may Allah be pleased with him) that he presented the meat of a wild donkey as a gift to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) while he (the Prophet) was at (the place of) Abwa or Dhuwan, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) returned it. He says: When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw sadness on my face, he said: We did not return it for any other reason, except that we are in the state of Ihram.

Hadith 681
Tawoos narrates from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that Zaid bin Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him) came, so Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) reminded him and said: How did you report about the meat of the game that was gifted to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) while he was in the state of Ihram? He said: A portion of the meat of the game was gifted to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), so he returned it and said: We are in the state of Ihram, so we do not eat it.
