Hadith 667
Sayyiduna Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) says: We performed Hajj Tamattu‘ with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and nothing was revealed in the Qur’an about it (i.e., prohibiting it). Whatever a person said about it was from his own opinion. (The reference is to Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), who used to prohibit Hajj Tamattu‘). { مقام غور ہے کہ سیدنا عمر رضی اللہ عنہ جیسے صحابی کی بات جب آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی بات کے خلاف تھی تو صحابہ کرام نے سیدنا عمر رضی اللہ عنہ کی بات کا انکار کر دیا ، اور آج ہم اور ہمارے علماء ( منہ سے بھلے اقرار نہ کریں لیکن عملاً ) اماموں کی بات کی وجہ سے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی بات ( احادیث ) چھوڑ دیتے ہیں ۔ اللہ تعالیٰ ہم کو سیدھا رستہ دکھائے آمین }
Hadith 668
`Sayyiduna Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) said that` the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) performed Hajj Tamattu‘ and we also performed Hajj Tamattu‘ along with him.
Hadith 669
`Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) says that` we came with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and we were reciting the Talbiyah for Hajj, so the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) commanded us to change this Ihram of Hajj into Ihram of Umrah.
