Hadith 645
Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: It is not permissible for a woman who believes in Allah and the Last Day to travel for more than three days unless she is accompanied by her father, her son, her husband, her brother, or another relative with whom she cannot marry.

Hadith 646
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade a woman from undertaking a journey of one day (alone) unless her husband or another mahram relative is with her.

Hadith 647
Narrated Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say in a sermon: "No man should be alone with a woman except when her mahram is with her. And no woman should travel except with a mahram relative." Then a man stood up and said, "O Messenger of Allah! My wife has set out for Hajj and my name has been registered in such-and-such army (i.e., I have been enlisted among the warriors)." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Go and perform Hajj with your wife."
