Hadith 625
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: No person should fast specifically on Friday, unless he fasts a day before it or a day after it as well.
Hadith 626
`Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that` he (peace be upon him) said: No person should single out the night of Jumu'ah (Friday) among all nights for standing (in prayer) and nor its day (i.e., Friday) among all days for fasting, unless it is his regular practice (such as fasting on a specific date every month) and Jumu'ah happens to fall on that day.
