Hadith 581
Sayyiduna Zaid bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) says: We took sahur with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), then stood up for the morning prayer. I (the narrator) asked: How much time was there between (sahur and the prayer)? He said: The time it takes to recite fifty verses. (The interval between finishing sahur and the call to prayer was about ten minutes.)
