Hadith 552
‘Umm al-Mu’minin Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: When a woman spends from the grain of her house without causing corruption (that is, as is customary, such as giving a piece to a poor person or a handful to a beggar, in which the husband’s consent is known by custom), then she will have the reward for what she spent, and the husband will have the reward for what he earned. And the treasurer will also have the same reward, so that the reward of one will not diminish the reward of the other (that is, Allah Almighty will give each one a separate reward, not that He will make one share in the reward of the other).
