Mukhtasar Muslim

Narrated from Umm al-Mu'mineen Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) that a man came and asked the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him): "My mother died suddenly and did not have the chance to make a will. If she had spoken, she would have given charity. If I give charity on her behalf, will she receive the reward?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Yes."
