Hadith 452
Umm al-Mu’minin Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: When you visit a sick person or a deceased person, say good words, because the angels say Ameen to what you say. She says that when Abu Salamah (may Allah be pleased with him) passed away, I came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)! Abu Salamah has passed away. So he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Pray like this: “O Allah! Forgive me and him, and grant me a better substitute than him.” She says that I made this supplication, so Allah Almighty granted me a better substitute than him, that is, Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).
