'Amir bin Sa'd narrates from his father, Sayyiduna Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him), that I used to see the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) turning his face to the right and to the left while saying salam, to the extent that the whiteness of his cheek would become visible to me.
