Hadith 233
Ishaq bin Abdullah bin Abu Talha narrates from our master Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that his (Anas's) grandmother, whose name was Malikah, invited the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) to a meal which she had prepared. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) ate and said: Stand up so that I may pray (for your goodness and blessings). Our master Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) said that I stood up with a (mat) made of palm fibers which had become black due to much use (i.e., it was worn out), I sprinkled water on it, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) stood on it. I and an orphan formed a row behind him, and the old woman stood behind us. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) led us in two rak‘ahs of prayer and concluded with salam.
