Hadith 230
Narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), "Is it permissible to pray in a single garment?" So the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Does each one of you have two garments?"
Hadith 231
Sayyiduna Umar bin Abi Salamah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) praying in the house of Umm al-Mu'mineen Umm Salamah, wrapped in a cloth, and both its ends were on his shoulders.
