Mukhtasar Muslim

Narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: When you hear the call of the muezzin, say what the muezzin says, then send blessings upon me, for whoever sends blessings upon me, Allah will send ten mercies upon him. After that, ask Allah to grant me al-Wasilah, for al-Wasilah is a place in Paradise which will be given to only one of Allah’s servants, and I hope that I will be that servant. And whoever asks Allah for al-Wasilah (the praised station, i.e., a place in Paradise) for me, my intercession will become obligatory for him.
