Mukhtasar Muslim

Umm al-Mu’minin Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) said: When any woman among us would menstruate, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would order her to tie a waist-wrapper during the flow of menstrual blood, then he would have intimacy with her (that is, he would lie with his wife). Umm al-Mu’minin Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) said: Who among you has as much control over his desire and need as the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had?
