Hadith 120
Sayyiduna Abu Malik Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Purity is half of faith, and "Alhamdulillah" fills the scale (i.e., its reward is so great that it fills the scale of deeds), and "Subhanallah" and "Alhamdulillah" together fill the space between the heavens and the earth. Prayer is light, charity is proof, patience is illumination, and the Qur'an will be an argument for you or against you (if you act upon the Qur'an, it will be an argument in your favor, otherwise it will be a burden against you). Every person (whether good or bad) sets out in the morning and either frees himself (from Allah's punishment by doing good deeds) or destroys himself (by doing bad deeds).
