Hadith 80
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I saw myself in the Hatim, and (I saw that) the Quraysh were asking me about my journey (of Mi'raj), so they asked me about several things regarding Bayt al-Maqdis which I could not remember. I felt great distress, such distress as I had never felt before. Then Allah, the Exalted, raised Bayt al-Maqdis before me, and I began to look at it, and whatever they asked me, I informed them. And I found myself among a group of prophets; I saw that Musa (peace be upon him) was standing and offering prayer. He was a man of medium height and well-built, like the people of (the tribe of) Shanwah. And I also saw 'Isa ibn Maryam (peace be upon them both) standing and offering prayer, and among all people, I find 'Urwah ibn Mas'ud al-Thaqafi (may Allah be pleased with him) to resemble him the most. And I saw that Ibrahim (peace be upon him) was also standing and offering prayer, and the one he most resembled among you is your companion (meaning himself). Then the time for prayer came, so I led them in prayer and all the prophets prayed behind me. When I finished the prayer, a speaker said: O Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon you)! This is Malik, the keeper of Hell; greet him with peace. I looked towards him, and he greeted me first.
