Hadith 30
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Faith has over seventy branches or over sixty branches. The most excellent of them is saying "La ilaha illallah" (There is no god but Allah), and the lowest of them is removing something harmful from the road, and modesty is a branch of faith.

Hadith 31
Sayyiduna Abu Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: We were with Sayyiduna Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) in a group (a group of less than ten men is called a rahṭ), and among us was Bashir bin Ka'b as well. Sayyiduna Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated a hadith that day that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Modesty is all good, or modesty is entirely good. Bashir bin Ka'b said: We have seen in some books or in wisdom that one type of modesty is tranquility and dignity for the sake of Allah Almighty, and one type of modesty is weakness of the self. Upon hearing this, Sayyiduna Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) became so angry that his eyes turned red, and he said: I narrate to you the hadith of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and you speak against it. Sayyiduna Abu Qatadah said that Sayyiduna Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) then repeated the same hadith again. Bashir again said the same thing, so Sayyiduna Imran became angry (and intended to punish Bashir), so all of us said: O Abu Nujayd! (this is the kunyah of Sayyiduna Imran bin Husain, may Allah be pleased with him) Bashir is one of us (meaning he is a Muslim), there is nothing wrong with him. (Meaning he is not a hypocrite, irreligious, or an innovator as you thought.)
