Hadith 26
Narrated Abdullah bin Amr, may Allah be pleased with them, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever possesses four traits is a pure hypocrite. And whoever has one of these traits has a characteristic of hypocrisy until he gives it up: When he speaks, he lies; when he makes an agreement, he acts treacherously; when he makes a promise, he breaks it; and when he quarrels, he behaves in a very imprudent, insulting manner or abuses. And in Sufyan's narration, the word 'khalah' is replaced with 'khaslah'."
