Mukhtasar Muslim

Narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: There are three things, whoever has them will taste the sweetness and delight of faith: First, that he loves Allah and His Messenger more than anyone else; second, that he loves a person only for the sake of Allah (i.e., with no worldly motive or fear); third, that he hates to return to disbelief after Allah has saved him from it, just as he would hate to be thrown into the fire.

Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: None of you can be a (true) believer until I am more beloved to him than his children, his parents, and all people.

`Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that` the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "By Him in Whose Hand is my soul, a person cannot be a believer until he loves for his (Muslim) brother or neighbor what he loves for himself."
