Mukhtasar Muslim

Umm al-Mu’minin Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) said: I used to feel great jealousy towards those women who would offer themselves to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). And I used to say: How does a woman offer herself? Then when this verse was revealed: “O Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)! You may put off whom you please of them, and you may take to yourself whom you please, and whom you desire of those whom you had set aside, there is no blame on you” __QUR_N__, I said to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): By Allah, I see that your Lord hastens to fulfill your desires.
