Hadith 79

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) once mentioned the Masih Dajjal among the people and said: "Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, is not one-eyed, but the Masih Dajjal is blind in his right eye. His blind eye is like a swollen grape." (So this is a clear sign that the accursed one is a liar in his claim of divinity.) The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "One night in a dream, I saw myself near the Ka'bah. There was a man of wheat-colored complexion, like the best wheat-colored people, with hair reaching his shoulders, combed, and water was dripping from his head. He was performing tawaf of the Ka'bah, placing his hands on the shoulders of two men. I asked, 'Who is this man?' The people replied, 'This is the Masih, son of Maryam (peace be upon them).' Behind him, I saw another man with very curly hair, blind in his right eye. Of all the people I have seen, he most resembled Ibn Qatan. He too was performing tawaf, placing his hands on the shoulders of two men. I asked, 'Who is this?' The people replied, 'This is the Masih Dajjal.'"
