‘Mother of the Believers, Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) says that when we came to Madinah (after migrating), there was an epidemic fever spreading there. And Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) and Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) became ill. Then when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saw the illness of his companions, he prayed: O Allah! Make our Madinah beloved to us as You made Makkah beloved, or even more so, and make it a place of health, and bless us in its “Sa’” and “Mudd” (measures), and turn its fever towards Juhfa.
