Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When I was taken on the Mi'raj (Ascension), I met Musa (peace be upon him). Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) described his appearance. I think the Prophet (peace be upon him) said (the narrator is in doubt here) that he was tall, slim, with black hair, like the people of Shanuwah. And he said: I met Isa (peace be upon him). Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) described his appearance, that he was of medium height, of a reddish complexion, as if he had just come out of a bath (that is, so fresh and with a pleasant color). And the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: I saw Ibrahim (peace be upon him), and among his descendants, I resemble him the most. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Then two vessels were brought to me. One contained milk and the other contained wine, and I was told to choose whichever I wished. I took the vessel of milk and drank it, so the (angel who brought the two vessels) said: You have attained the way of nature (guidance), or you have reached nature (guidance). And if you had chosen the wine, your Ummah would have gone astray.
