Narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the first fruit would come to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), he would supplicate: "O Allah! Bestow blessings upon our city, upon our fruits, upon our Madinah, and upon our mudd and sa’ (measures)." Then he would give that fruit to the youngest child present in the gathering.
