It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that Dhu’ayb Abu Qubaysah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported from him that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to send sacrificial camels with him and would instruct that if any of them became tired and there was fear of its death, then it should be slaughtered, and its sandals should be dipped in its blood and marked on its hump, and neither you nor any of your companions should eat from it.
