Mukhtasar Muslim

It is narrated from 'Urwah that he said: Someone asked Sayyiduna Usamah bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him) in my presence (or he said that I myself asked Sayyiduna Usamah, may Allah be pleased with him), and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had seated him on his camel at 'Arafat, that how did the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) proceed? (That is, at what pace did he make the camel walk?) So he said: He would proceed at a gentle (slow) pace, and then when he found an open space, that is, where the crowd was less, he would make it go a little faster.
