Mukhtasar Muslim

Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) performed the Tawaf of the House of Allah during the Farewell Pilgrimage on his camel, and he would touch the Black Stone with his staff. (He rode) so that people could see him and he would be elevated, and so that they could ask him questions about religious matters, because the people had surrounded him in great numbers.
