‘Sayyiduna Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) says that’ Hajj Tamattu‘ was specific for the companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). (This is the statement of Sayyiduna Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him), not a hadith of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)).
