Hadith 661

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) mounted his she-camel and it stood straight with him near the mosque of Dhul-Hulaifah, then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recited the Talbiyah, that is: "Here I am, O Allah, here I am, here I am. You have no partner, here I am. Surely all praise and blessings are for You, the kingdom is Yours, and You have no partner." He said that Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to say that this was the Talbiyah of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). Nafi’ says that Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to add these words: "Here I am (in Your service), here I am (in Your service), and all good fortune is from You, and all goodness is in Your hands. Here I am, and I turn to You alone, and all actions are for You."
